its really subtle, like bearly anything but i notice it when i dont open it for a while and then do i kinda feel it to like a bump so slight and so little, its probley a dumb question to ask but would this be a bad thing? like could it get worse and worse and eventually click all the time? my 14day return to best buy just ran out cause i just recently bought this unit and im not really all that eager to go out and ship it out, and i feel like people may even think its a dumb reason to send it in. again it only happens and not even all the time but a lot of the time when i open it after not having it been open for a little while maybe like 45min or so. just curous as i am sorta obsesive compulsive when it comes to these things cause its brand new, and expensive to replace if i need a fix after the year warrenty. i am going to get the 3 year extended towards the end of the year for the peice of mind.

Is it in sleep mode when you say "if you don't open it for a while"?

Cheers

That'd be my guess.

i only fear it will get worse, its not a bother i just kinda want my new laptop to be in perfect condition espically due to the fact that to replace certain things can cost hundreds if not thousands. do you know if this offer is limited or going to be around for a good while Apple - Support - AppleCare - Mac and Apple Display i couldn't find anything on that, my cousin told me when he got his the guy at best buy told him its impossible to extend the warranty so im curious if this is just a small time promotional thing or if its going to be around for a good while.

It isn't impossible to extend it, the guy at best buy probably wanted you to spend more money there instead of at Apple lol. It is exactly as it states in that link you provided and has been around for a while now!
