Early iPad 2 demand 40 percent higher than iPad 1

Early demand for the iPad 2 is about 40 percent higher than early interest in the iPad 1, a new ChangeWave study suggests. Of a group of 2,000 people polled between March 14th and the 23rd this year, 28 percent indicated they were interested in getting an iPad 2 in the near future. This merges 10 percent who deemed themselves "very likely" to get one, and 18 percent who said they were "somewhat likely."...

It feels like they released the first Ipad just days ago... This is probably a gadget too much.

I contribute that much interest in the iPad 2 to exposure to the first iPad. People have come to realize how awesome and useful the first iPad is and now here's one that's even better. Of course everyone's excited to get an iPad 2.

Side note... 8am this morning 20 people lined up outside my nearest Apple Store. Demand continues to outweigh supply. What a good problem for Apple to have. :)
