My multitouch trackpad won't double click?

I have the penultimate MacBook pro, 13 inch. Recently, my trackpad has quit double clicking! It's soooo annoying! I checked the trackpad settings, and double click is set to fast.. any idea how to fix this? It does left and right click fine.

Try setting it to a medium speed. I've heard that could possible help. Also, you should make sure you're all up to date with your software.
