I'm on a Mac desktop OS X 10.6. These are the things the computer is doing: It makes a noise like a snare drum. I can use the mouse, but can't type anything. Every time I try to type, it just repeats one letter in a long stream. When I'm on the web, it minimizes the page (tiny).

I would just back everything up, and factory restore it.

Sounds like liquid met keyboard.

Don't know what that is, but my first thought is to try a different keyboard. Wouldn't that be a good approach?
