I have an iBook G3 900mhz 512 ram with Tiger 10.4 which doesn't see my Belkin wireless network, my macbook see it ok.

The iBook sees other networks which would indicate the airport card is working,

Has any one any ideas on a solution please?

What is the model of the Belkin router, it may be using a wireless standard that the imac cannot access

The iBook won't be able to connect to anything other than an 802.11b connection. The iBooks weren't able to support 802.11g until the Airport Extreme card was available for the G4 iBooks.

Could you say how you "changed" it, as it will help others who stumble across this thread - and I have to admit to being curious as to what you changed.

It wasn't an airport problem really it was that the ibook airport is too old to see newer wireless signals so I had to change from 802 to 801 & also to 64 bit, this is done by logging into your router via a hardwired machine & selecting wireless
