Good day everyone.
I have a PowerPc G5, 4 x 2.5 GHz (5GB DDR2 SDRAM) machine running OS X 10.4.11.
I want to install a newer version of Final Cut but it requires OS X 10.5 or higher. Now the problem is that I can't get 10.5 to install. I don't have the original black disk but I have the iso image which I restored on to a 8GB memory stick (using it as a "disk") I select the drive, click on "Install Mac OS X" icon and restart. Now here's the problem. Nothing happens. the machine just restarts, no new installation takes place.
There's adequate space on the machine for the update to happen.
I'm going of my head here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
