I'm 99% sure the bottom slot is slot 0 and the top slot is slot 1

You can always find out for sure by yanking one of he modules and then open your System Profiler and click on "memory". The Profiler will identify the modules by type and bank location.

Yes, but I have a bummed stick of ram I just installed, its only showing one 4 gig instead of 8gb...and I have a new peice I was hoping to find out before I start messing around to make the process easier..

The only process you need to worry about now is the process of elimination.
Move the modules in and out as suggested and check your System Profiler to determine which is which. If you have a bad module, it'll show up.
