Wonder how much 12 million GB would cost to purchase.
Yeah that's a lot of space but in 10-20 years we'll all have petabyte hard drives right? We all remember the days when people said "what 100MB? You'll never need that much storage space".

This probably dates me a bit, but I can remember getting an old 286 with a 20MB hard drive and being the envy of my classmates.

As an aside, isn't it astounding how, video aside, we still do a lot of the same things with computers as we did back then -- email, chat, research, word processing and spreadsheets, etc? Heck, I remember my high school buds downloading porn from old dial-in BBSes. The more things change, the more they stay the same...
