iPhone to MacBook via Bluetooth

My iPhone 4 wont connect via bluetooth to my Macbook Pro.
My Macbook pairs succesfully but my iPhone says "device not suppoprted"
Please help

Thank you. I am new to Mac and iPhone. With Nokia and a PC that was the easiest way to transfer, obviously synching to iTunes is only done through the USB cable, old habits die hard

You can certainly use other phones like Nokia etc to bluetooth file transfer to the mac, it's just the iphone that doesn't allow it natively. With that app you should have no problems to file transfer via bluetooth to either your Mac or a PC.
