Is the laptop worth the investment? Ive never owned a mac before andsomeone I know is selling one. Adivce? They want 150 for it.

If you can get it cheap enough, it might be something that will peak your interest and enable you to learn about Macs and the operating system. That model is a PPC not Intel machine so it will be unable to run the latest OS and latest software, but still a nice machine if you can get it at a lower price. I have no idea how much it's worth but you can check for yourself by comparing prices on eBay and Craig's list.
