iCal help: Getting phone alerts but not computer...help!

So my iCal has stopped sending me alerts to my computer, but they still pop up on my iPhone. I havent changed any settings, and all the settings look right. It just seems to have stopped one day. I'm not an iCal expert so its possibly an easy fix but i just can't seem to find anything. Anyone have any ideas?
