Can I combine multiple PDF files in Finder or some other program, just as Adobe Acrobat can? I only have Adobe Reader on my Mac but wanted to combine about 40 files into 1 file.

You can do this easily using Preview, just takes a little practice.

Try it, if you have problems or need pointers post back.

Thanks for the info. I ended up using a free downloaded automator from a link provided to the site you gave.

Here is the automator
Apple - Downloads - Automator Actions - Combine PDFs

I had about 30 PDF files I wanted to combine and the method with Previewer did not work flawlessly when I did it. The automator was simple as long as the files I chose in Finder were listed in descending order.
