unable to run firefox version 4

Running a g5. Mac 0S X version 10.4.11 Whenever i download the latest version of fire fox i keep getting a message saying that the program is not compatible with this system . Does anyone know why that is?

Unfortunately Firefox 4 does not run on PPC machines, just Intel based ones, so you are stuck with version 3.6
