I have a TREMENDOUS amount of cds. The last time I attempted to count and archive my collection, I had 2000+ cds. Of course this was like a year ago, and since then I've purchased, on average, 1 or 2 cds a week so as you can see, my collection is pretty large. It'd be pretty time consuming to convert all of that to AAC, but it was also pretty time consuming to convert it to 192kbs mp3. For the mp3 conversion, I paid my little cousin 100 bucks to convert the 30,000+ songs I have. He was ecstatic, as I was... ****, that's A LOT of songs... hehe. But if the advantage isn't so great, I won't even bother... thanks anywayciaran.mooney said:If you have the original source (The CD). Then I'd just delete the MP3's and re-encode as AAC.
It'll take some time if you have a lot of music, but you wont be loosing any sound quality and getting the benefits of AAC.
Personally I hope Apple allows iPods to play OGG files in the future.
