Emailing I-Photos

I'm trying to email photos to my daughter and repeatedly they have not been going through. Could it be her email address or are the photos too large to send? Anyone else have this problem? thanks

Any error messages ?
What if you send them to someone else ... do they arrive ?

only once did i receive an error message - the other times it said photos were sent but they never arrived. I'm sending directly from my Mac OS email to a gmail account.
