I recently posted a question about freezing in my 2011 MBP 13" with a Crucial C300 SSD.
Now, this post claims that the problem lies with the SATA interface.
I am currently in contact with Amazon and will be returning my C300 (also my 8GB Samsung RAM, just to be sure), because I get constant beachballs under load and sometimes without. I was going to order the same RAM, but go for the Intel X25-M 120GB 6 cm (2,5 Zoll) S-ATA II Solid State Drive.
The C300 seems to be using SATA-III, while the Intel drive only uses SATA-II - is this correct? And does this mean I will likely be able to avoid the problems described in the Hardmac article?
Thanks in advance.
