Mobile Me Problems...

Ok i have to say this place is awesome!!!! Im not much of a computer guy, but i have to say i have been able to find and fix most my issues i by doing some searches. it seems i cant get these 2 issues i have fixed. please help!!!

1. ical on my mac will not sync with my mobileme. ive tried all the typical stuff... not sure what to do??

2. my moble me mail will not run on work on my mac mail? all the info is right, deleted it and reinstalled and nothing. i get the following:
-The server returned the error: The server “mail.me.com” refused to allow a connection on port 993.

every avenue i have tried does not fix??

btw, i have the latest updates for OS X 10.6.7

1. I assume you've opened up 'System Preferences - MobileMe' and set it to sync your calendar?

2. What anti-virus / firewall do you have installed? Do you have Peer Guardian installed? Turn them off.

Yes, tried many, many, many times!

2. What anti-virus / firewall do you have installed? Do you have Peer Guardian installed? Turn them off.

No anti-virus and firewall turned off. Peer Guardian turned off..

any other ideas??

Uninstall Peer Guardian and see if your problem disappears.
