I have done quite a bit of searching but I am not quite finding what I am looking for so I hope someone here can assist.

Here is what I want to be able to do. There are 4 of us in my house, Me, my wife and my two kids. We each have our own account on the iMac. I have been using iMovie since day one and love it. Now, my wife and my daughter have discovered how easy it is and want to make their own movies. Currently, I import the video under my account so they have to log into mine to use the iMovie. Is it possible to move the raw video that i import into a shared location that everyone can see and use? I assume that each user would only have access to their own "projects", but all share the same raw video.

Is this possible? If so, how do I move all of the current video to the shared location, and how do I alter the import settings so any new video goes into the shared location?

Any directions would be appreciated!

The first thing that comes into mind is to copy the RAW videos into the "Public" folders in your home folder. That way they can all have access to the RAW video.
