Connect to PC's printer

Hey guys I just got a first mac! So please bear with my noob question...
How do I setup my iBook to print to a canon printer hooked up to another pc? The ibook is connected through wireless and can share files with the pc. The printer is shared on windows xp but it doesn't appear on the ibook.

Get a free Apple program called Bonjour. It will seek out printer on your network and assist with configuration.

Either Bonjour doesn't do what it's supposed to do, or I am having technical difficulties.

It seems, at least from my experience, that Bonjour for Windows is used to connect a Windows machine to printers that are attached to Macs.

At least, that's how it worked for me. I could not get Bonjour on my XP machine to recognize a printer attached to the local machine, and my iBook never saw it.

When I plugged the printer into my iBook, it showed up as "available" in Bonjour on my XP machine.
