Hello. Im trying to install Windows 7 onto my Macbook pro using VM software.. Every software that I use, it tells me it cant detect the disc in the optical drive and cant install it. Also, I know the optical drive works because it can read other CD/DVD's and can also burn CD's. The Windows 7 OS disc isnt scratched or anything. Any help??

Thanks!

Make sure that you have VMWare Fusion setup to use the optical drive and not OS X (when you're in Fusion). Do that from settings. It sounds like Fusion "thinks" the drive is not available.
