I would like to add a comments box to my website. Also i would like to make it so that people can join my website and post things. Kind of like facebook. I do not want to use anything on the web. I would like to build a website from scratch. i know many things about building websites but if I could start up profiles... that'd be cool. please get back to me as soon as possible :)

Learn PHP and MySQL.
You'll be hand coding everything in near-gibberish.

Are you sure you need to reinvent the wheel?
