HELP.. Error with iTunes and app updates???

Just started a few days ago. I noticed it first with my iPad and now on my iMac. I have apps that need updating but when I go to update them I get error message. unable to connect to network

I am internet access. but the app store (or iTunes) is acting up.. pictures won't all load.. can't download anything.. I aven't done the recent snow leopard upgrade but I do have the new 4.3 on my iPad (which was a week or 2 ago and this error only started 2 days ago)

I tried googling this but it seems no one else is having this issue???

Do you have the latest version of iTunes .... v10.2.1 ?
It was released just a few days before the iOS 4.3 upgrade

App Store problem?

Is there something wrong with the App Store at the moment?

My iPad is just sitting trying to update a very small App (a Calculator) and doing nothing. The App says 'Waiting', although no other Apps are being updated and the App Store takes ages to load and then shows the same App as needing to be updated :(

Edit - I tried restarting the iPad. The App seemed to have completed the update, although it had moved out of the folder onto a new page. However, the App Store still says it needs to update and the App is now showing 'Waiting' again.

I just upgraded to 10.6.7 and then tried to download Angry Birds Rio for the iPad. Had no problem getting the the store, just had a problem when I tried to buy/download the game, it was a no go. I got the warning

"We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The network connection was lost. There was an error in the iTunes Store. Try again later".

Anybody else having the problem?

It seems I can browse and buy but not download or update.

Yeah, I got that when updating an app and when trying to log into my Apple ID account. Must be something going on. Maintenance, fixing a problem, etc. Who knows? Keep checking it every hour.

Sorry, I was going to suggest I had posted this in the wrong Forum. Not sure if I have the rights to move a post though.

I assume the App Store is still down? Have Apple given any ETA for a fix yet?
