audible book file question for ipod classic

I've download several audible books from audible.com on my ipod classic 80 gb without any problems- I seems to be having an issue on one particular book - it gets to the end of the chapter & the ipod totally freezes. I've downloaded a new file of the same book - deleted the old & removed from the ipod & itunes then requested a new fresh copy & that didn't solve the issue. I checked the file is .aa - so I'm stumped at what's the problem with this one particular book; how to get it to play the entire book. There's plenty of room on the ipod as I've only used a total of 17gb.
Any suggestions??

I'd suggest audible has a bad file for that book.

I had one similar a couple years ago that would freeze at the same point in the book whether playing on iPod/iPhone or in iTunes.

Try it in iTunes.

Report it to audible.
