As the title says, the headphone jack on my mid 09 MBP just randomly stopped working. The internal speakers still work fine but when I plug in headphones/speakers to the jack the internal speakers continue to play. What's weird is I was just using it last night before bed, unplugged my headphones and closed the computer (didn't shut it down) and now it has stopped working.I tried searching but couldn't seem to resolve the issue. All audio settings seem to be correct, no red light in the jack, etc. Any ideas? Thanks
EDIT: I just updated my from 10.6.6 to 10.6.7 and it fixed the issue. Not sure if this was due to the update or the restart but problem solved! Still very weird how this happened overnight while the computer was sleeping... Any idea why/how?
