I was recently in a hotel about 500 miles from my home for a few days. The hotel had great WiFi in the rooms, so my MacBook Pro worked fine. However, my iPhone 4 never picked up any data I added or changed to my Contacts and Calendar. When I returned home, within an hour, MobileMe was "working" fine again and all the data was also on my iPhone 4 and iPad.
Any ideas why this happened? I thought MobileMe was "cloud" and worked anywhere. My Sync icon would spin but data never transferred until I was home. Do I need to change a setting or something? It's worked fine on other trips. TIA.
