I am trying to control my PC running windows xp using my mac running OS 1.5.8
both are on LAN.

I installed tight VNC server on my PC, the ip is 192.168.1.101

I installed chicken of VNC of my mac, it was able to connect to the pc successfully, however, there are areas with strange colors. My PC is running at the resolution larger than my mac, but i cannot find the "fit to window" function on chicken of VNC.

The built-in application screen sharing used to work perfectly, however, it cannot connect to the VNC server any more (either by giving address as 192.168.1.101 or vnc://192.168.1.101), although chick of vnc was able to connect.

can someone help?

Unless there is any particular reason that you HAVE to use your vnc program....I would just use TeamViewer on both computers.
