When I put my dock in hide mode

When I put my dock in hide mode, sometimes I really have to slam the cursor over to where it is located be it sides or bottom., to get it to pop out. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there something wrong or anything I can do to change this.
(Not sure of forum for this)

it happens to me sometimes. how much ram do you have? when does it normally happen? mine happens mostly if i am running alot of stuff or using a lot of memory.

memory shouldn't be a problem

unfourtunatly i cant answere you question.... maybe try moving the mouse done slowly and holding it there for a sec or two.... or maybe try bringing down the mouse somewhere else?
