Messed up my HD, Cannot re-install, Help!

I royally messed up my HD. It is when I tried to dual boot and install win7.

I believe it was when I was installing win7 and I picked the wrong boot drive (my mac HD) and formatted it. Now I am trying to re-install snow leopard and get things back to original. But when I try to install the OS it will not let me! How can I re-install?

Please help me or redirect me to a link that has a solution. Thank you so much Mac lovers! I appreciate it

It seems that you have it partitioned into two volumes. Is there a particular reason for that? If not, I'd recommend just doing one. Make sure you click on the disk itself in Disk Utility and not the partitions you've created. Then set the partition scheme to just one, set the partition option to GUID, and once you've applied those changes, the installer should allow you to choose the newly created partition as a valid destination for the OS.

Thank you for the quick response! It seems that I cannot set the scheme to just one under 'volume scheme' nor click the option button. Any ideas please?

Okay I got it to one partition, but I could not click the options however it says the partition is GUID on the bottom of the window.

But when I click apply this is what happens.

Are you trying all this when booted from your Snow Leopard/Leopard disk and going into Utilities in the Menu Bar?
