iphoto 9.1.1 music problem

when I start a slideshow, my itunes library doesn't show up to choose music from. the source tab is there but it show "0" for items present. I have followed the help menu for possible solutions but nothing seems to work. any ideas?

I'm also having issues with setting a desktop photo. I'll pic one and it"ll set but within a couple minutes it switches back to the blue screen. Help please.

1. Is iTunes (the application) in your Applications folder? If so, is your music library located in in the "Music" folder of your home folder? Have you moved ANY part of either the above to a different location?

2. When you go to System Preferences, Desktop and Screensaver, what does your have at the bottom of that window? Here's mine:
