If there isn't a way, why not?
Is there a way I can make my Desktop background my webcam feed from iSight?

Download this quartz composition I made.
iSightBackground.qtz.zip
Move the .qtz to users/###/Library/Screen Savers
Then get Wallify, double click it to install it into the dashboard and then click the little i. Now choose the quartz composition, this way you can have a different desktop screensaver than the real screensaver.
Turn it around again and click it, the text will turn blue and you should see it change the desktop in a few seconds.

Note however that this will take a lot of CPU power. On my Mac it takes 41% CPU power.
