Help with getting IOS 4.3

I was using my Itunes to update my Iphone 4 to the latest IOS 4.3 but it keeps telling me that my phone has all the current updates already..

What am I doing wrong here? Im interested in using the new mobile hotspot feature.

My phone is at the IOS version 4.2.6 if that helps.

Is it the Verizon phone? I believe I recall reading that 4.3 is coming to that phone a little later Verizon iPhone Users Don't Have iOS 4.3 Yet | News & Opinion | PCMag.com

Yes it is a Verizon. That makes sense. I was confused because I got the email to update from apple today.

As far as I know (not being with Verizon nor having an iPhone) is that the mobile hotspot feature was included with the iOS 4.2.5 build that came with their phone (see here). Have you looked around the settings?

See, this is the sort of thing that is going to alienate iPhone customers. Apple needs to get the updates together and release the same software to all the users regardless of the carrier. Once they stray it's a train wreck and it's one of things that angers so many Android users about Android. Apple needs to get this act together and not play this game based on carriers.
