loops in GarageBand

I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard from Tiger, on which I had GarageBand 3.0.5 running. When I first opened up GarageBand in SL, none of the loops appeared. I've tried dragging them to the loop browser from the library, but that doesn't work.

Any suggestions?
