If the price is the same... 20".... Hands down. The 3 Inches is more than worth giving up the 0.2Ghz.

Is the 20" used? As you might want to make sure you have some sort of warranty on it.

I would go for the 17" with 2.0 Ghz processor. My reasoning : It is a revB. iMac.

I would say the 20". Double the RAM will make a huge difference where as .2 ghz will not.

I would say the 20" as well. The 1GB of RAM will make a much bigger difference than the extra 200Mhz of the 17" will.

Go with the screen realestate, definately. Ram cam be increased, hard drives can be increased, but screen realestate cannot.

I assume that the revA iMac 20" does not have Tiger.(?) So when you get down to it, its a better deal to get the 17". With revB you get Tiger, Bluetooth, Airport Extreme, Bigger HD, DL Superdrive, and a ATI 9600 Graphics card. Honestly taking all that into consideration, I'm still sticking with the 17" being a better bang for your buck. Plus you can also get an additional monitor for spanning with the iMac so you can get anywhere from 34" inches of screen space (17" iMac with 17" Second monitor)

get the 20" one

quite a few people on here have had a 17" one then sold it to get the 20" one. Also its not die a death if you dont have tiger as you can get that when your ready and the RAM like its been said before will make all the difference

Well if you want to game with it, I'd consider the better graphics card in the 17" iMac. But if you're just doing regular stuff on it, get the 20" model...

No way - support the 17.in 1.8GHz clan and buy it! Hot ****, just because of a graphics card change I own an antique overnight.
