I read this yesterday. I don't understand how they could let this happen the third time now. I remember watching the video of the first robbery.

How in the world have they not learned from this already ? They need to either post security IN the store over night until they catch these guys, or *gasp* put some front gates in place! Not very bright.

I live not really far from Pittsburgh area. Shadyside is not considered as a bad area (that's why Apple put the store). In fact, it is very close to the wealthy neighborhood and houses around the area are very nice. It is also close to the universities (U of Pitts, Carnegie...) but some of the backstreets are 'shady'. You'll never know these days what would happen even near one of the nicest areas of the big cities.

It's a bit surprising Apple doesn't consider how ruthless robbers can be. Apple needs to ramp up a little more money towards security along with their modern design.

They should just make a FileVault type security system, stuff goes in, don't know, if it'll come out.

Maybe Apple needs to invest in some AKC Doberman Pinschers....:p
