Has anyone got an Optoma ES515 Projector? I want to know if it is compatible with a Macbook. Projectors seem mostly to have the 15 pin VGA connection which, of course, the Macbook doesn't have. Any suggestions? I'd rather not go down the road of buying a connector. I'd rather have the correct cable connection in the first place.

That's not going to happen. Using a projector, external monitor, TV, etc, connected to your MacBook will require the use of an adapter. The type of adapter needed will of course depend on what you're connecting it to.

If the Optoma has a VGA, DVI, or HDMI input, then you will need the proper adapter and cable from your MacBook to the Optoma.
