im thinking of buying a power mac, but befor i do does anyone know if they can run counter-strike 1.6 or even possible to make them? thank you.

As far as I know, CS isn't available for Mac. If gaming is a concern, you might want to steer away from Macs. That is about the one area where Macs tend to fall short in.

The closest you will probably come to Counter-Strike on the Mac is Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. It's quite old now compared to HL2 and D3, so it should run fine on any recent Mac.
