enlarged font/icons on my screen

everything on my screen is suddenly too LARGE to fit ... the font, the icons, everything has enlarged on it's own from the last time I logged in ... how do I shrink it back down to normal size??? thnx

In that case, you're probably using a lower resolution for your display. Set the display to its default native resolution and the icons and fonts should return to normal. Since you didn't tell us which Mac you're using, I can't tell you what the normal resolution for it should be. But you should be able to find out for yourself and reset it if it's wrong.
