HTML E-Mail Signature In Microsoft Outlook For Mac 2011 - Possible?

I've searched for information on configuring a HTML e-mail signature in Microsoft Outlook For Mac 2011, but it seems that it's either not possible or the workaround for it is rather convoluted, so I'm hoping someone can clarify whether it is possible to configure a HTML e-mail signature, and if so, how.

If it's not possible - can anyone tell me why, or whether the default e-mail client bundled with Mac OS X Snow Leopard does allow it?

Apple Mail can do HTML sigs see here. Why? I don't know.
