I have a Powerbook 17" aluminum running OS X 10.5.8.
It has begun sleeping at random times.
I have narrowed the symptoms down.
1. If it has been shutdown, it will run on batteries without any problem with sleeping.
2. If I need to recharge the battery, it will run fine for about an hour, but then the narcosis begins. Doesn't matter if I restart or not.
3. It will sleep even when running on the battery alone if it has been plugged in and not shut down.
4. It will run fine on AC for about a hour or so, but then the cycle starts.
4. The only way to stop this from happening is to shutdown and recharge for a couple of hours.
Any ideas?
