connecting internet using adhoc network in mac..??

firstly this is by far the best website with tonnes of info. and excellent moderators and members who solve query no matter what.
thank you.

now my question is i want to connect internet on my macbook air.

i dont have a router, but i have a windows computer with usb internet and i connect my other home pc using windows adhoc network..

now i wish to connect my macbook air using this.....can i do it??????????....(as in windows we put the dsn number as IP address in other computer....)
so what are the steps....
how can i do this....is it possible....
