Can't upgrade bootcamp 3.0 to 3.1??

I just installed windows 7 on my mac..i installed BC 3.0 but want to install 3.1 and this is the message i get.i dont understand..............

Did uou use the Apple Software Updater installed with bootcamp or attempt to download it online?

no, downloaded it manually and attempted to install 3.1 and that's that result

just tried apple updater and it doesnt even show boot camp as a possible update

Are you sure that you installed Boot Camp 3.0? How about telling us which version of OS X that you used to install Windows 7? The Boot Camp 3.0 assistant is included with Snow Leopard. After you installed Windows 7, did you insert your OS X DVD (Leopard or Snow Leopard) in order to install the drivers and the Boot Camp control panel application?

im so dumb, so i had 2.1 boot camp installed. 3.0 is included in snow leopard? i cant seem to find 3.0 anywhere on the web...

No, you can not download Boot Camp 3.0 from Apple or anywhere else. But the Snow Leopard upgrade DVD for $29.99 includes it. Once you have 3.0 installed you can download 3.1 and 3.2 from Apple.
