Is there any way I can change this to go back to Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V like the windows pc?

its just not comfortable.
Use your thumbs. Don't try to use them with your pinkies like Windows users.

(My apologies if you have a hand injury or congenital defect that precludes this.)

left hand thumb on cmd + first finger on C or V? That's more comfy? Am I missing something?

I played with my F keys in a Word document. F2 cut things, F 4 copied things. I could only paste using cmd-V, but I think F3 is supposed to do that. I've posted this before, and some replies said it didn't work. Maybe it's not the same on a MacBook.
