Probably not, they're all different. Go to iFixit: The free repair manual and take a look at the various fixes and repairs for iPods.

I did go there, as you suggested previously, and someone on the forum there said that you could probably use the logicboard from my 1st gen ipod to replace the logic board from my 5th gen 80gb video.
I was hoping someone here might be smarter or have more insight. Do you know in what way(s) they are different?
