Apples PowerPC G3??

I got an Apple PowerPC G3 at a recent School computer auction for 3$, is it me or do they just like not exist. I can't find them on apples website. I was wondering if they are just old, rare, or a brandless company putting an apple logo on the side of a random computer.

Apple made beige box G3 PowerMacs, not much else I can tell you unless you give more details, maybe a picture.

Since this was from a school, it sounds like it is the G3 AIO. They were never sold as consumer machines, so you likely won't find anyting on Apple's site about them. They were sold only to educational outlets.
Think of it as the precursor to the eMac.

I used to use one of those at school, I never realized they were education only.

I actually use my AIO daily, and in fact I am posting this from it right now. I really love these machines.

By the way Dud, it sounds like you got a terrific deal on yours. Let me know if you need any help or tips.

I have one. Is anyone who has one here able to use its built-in ethernet? I have been trying to get mine to hook up with a used g4 I got. Can't get appletalk to switch to ethernet.
