Hi,
I have a mac-book 13" Z0FU
last night by mistake I connected a "line in connector" into my headphone jack.
since then I cannot use my headphone, the headphones are recognized by the mac but no signal is coming out.
Can I fix this problem without replacing the logic card?

Thanks!

Try a reboot. If that doesn't work try inserting and removing the headphone male jack several times in succession to see if you can reset it. Does your MacBook have a separate connector for sound in and sound out? Some of the earlier (2007, 2008) models have separate connectors while the later models use an all in one.

what is your system sound output set to?

(if this is a 13" you may have set it to an input through system preferences, go and have a look under sound and see if there is anything out of place.)

I have separate connectors for "headphones" and "line in" , I also tasted it on windows 7 (bootcamp).
On both OS the mac recognize that headphones was connected and mute the speakers but the headphones dose not get any signal.
