I was doing some system maintenance and software updates over the weekend, and I was having a problem with Safari so I deleted all of my cookies to fix the problem.

Now, when I go to Apple Discussions, it thinks I'm a new user and wants me to create a new username.

I have dozens of posts and unanswered questions under my existing username. I'm logging in with my Mac account name and password, but it doesn't recognize me.

Any ideas?

They were down yesterday and an unavailable message came onscreen. Okay now.

Nope. That's not it.

The discussion boards went down sometime last week. I thought they were down for an awfully long time so I tried going there using Firefox and it worked. Only Safari kept saying "be back soon".

The only way to get there using Safari was to delete my cookies, but now it doesn't recognize me.
