MacBook Pro 15 " Power Mucking About

Since my last post the power wont come on now. The green led is
looking happy enough but the mac now seems resolved to staying
resolutely silent.

So now what......and there i was rather liking it.

well, what have you tried?

from your previous posts i can see you have reset the SMC.
have you took it into the apple store and asked them to look at it?

worst case scenario, there is a problem with the logic board.

have you ever spilled anything on the machine?

Hi Rob, thanks for posting, no nothing has ever been spilt on it, haven't taken it to apple yet, might try and take a look inside myself.

Are there any readilly available manuals out there to help me do this ? There's no doubt millions, but can you rec one ?
