Sticky CD-Drive

Does anyone have a fullproof, just-before-rebooting solution to a sticky CD-drive? I've tried everything that I know of to get that disk out of the drive but it just won't budge. I've noted in the months since I converted to the iMac that the disk frequently does not like to come out.

Solutions? Workarounds?

Thanks. And a very nice abattoir it is, too, but we were looking for a block of flats. I was thinking instead of a keyboard-based solution. Any ideas?
