so I have Quad-Core Intel Xeon 2.26 Ghz 2 processor 8 cores 6 GB RAM tower that a friend of mine has leant me while he fixes my older PowerPC tower - unfortunately he bailed off to miami this morning to go to the Winter Music Conference, and is kind've out of touch for a week.
Problem is I looked on his activity monitor & happen to notice theres only one processor showing up on the bottom, no clue whats up with that, and don't have much experience with dual processors. any help would be much appreciated. and hoping its an easy fix.
thanks again

Do not mess with it it ain't yours! It is quite normal for only CPU A to be showing activity on the CPU Usage in Activity Monitor.
