I'm new to Dreamweaver CS5 for Mac. Well the background you can see the desktop or screens behind Dreamweaver when I open Dreamweaver. The Dreamweaver menus and Properties are displayed but the middle is empty and you can see the desktop (where the code and design display). I need to open an HTML file or another file to fill this main space. I would think this would be a gray area instead like Dreamweaver CS5 for Windows has....?

Is there a Preferences setup to change this so I don't see the desktop or applications behind Dreamweaver? Hope this makes sense. This drives me crazy and want the area to be gray.

Thank you.

I'm afraid that you can't do this in Dreamweaver.

All (I think all) other CS5 products have the option to select "application frame," but for whatever reason Adobe have though up, they have omitted it from Dreamweaver.

Sorry buddy, looks like you're just going to have to put up with it!
